Restorative and Transformative Justice Workshop
This Restorative and Transformative Justice Workshop highlights the experiences, thoughts, and feelings of children, families, and individuals impacted by the justice system. Everybody Reads is a literacy program focused on the diversity of readers and sharing books that promote celebrating diverse cultures, experiences, seeing yourself in the story, and respecting the differences reflected in the story. Through the activities, youth can set goals, expand their perspectives and dreams.
EVERYBODY READS WORKSHOP
Join Everybody Read for a workshop highlighting culturally affirming/relevant BIPOC books and curriculum. Everybody Reads is not just about literacy but how the reader can reimagine themselves, set their goals, follow their dreams. The curriculum encourages the reader to expand on the story and promotes learning in a fun new way. Learn more about how to use the materials in an intentional way that urges youth to read.
